*---------==============---------* | Apprenticeship | *---------==============---------* The Lands of Draknor has an apprentice program for people interesting in becoming a GOD. There is no exception to this program. If you want to be an immortal on this mud you first have to go through this program. If you are unwilling to learn the MUD and do a little building to start your God Life, you can leave now and save us all time. To become a God on Draknor you must reach level 50 with at least one character, and demonstrate not only good, but fantastic ability to Role Play. We require these things for many different reasons. Including- 1. You have had a chance to see how our game is played. Every MUD is unique in its play style, and we want ALL immortals to know our game. 2. You are serious about your time here, and not looking for a quick path to the highest level. 3. You understand the fundamentals of the game by this point, and have an idea of what skills you have to help make this place better for mortals. If you are chosen to participate in this program, here are some things that you can come to expect. --------========Level 101========-------- This is the time that we get to know you. In your time at this rank you are to be a shadow among the mortals. Watch them, understand what they like and don't like. Also, look around the world, find the places you never have seen as a mortal. Look at the styles of the areas and form an understanding of how Draknor works. At this level you have one month to create your own area from scratch. By the end of that month you must have the area finished, and a description and history that will fit into your role play. If you don't meet these requirements you will be removed from immortal status. --------========Level 102========-------- By this time you should be comfortable with your place on Draknor. You will be added to the wizlist, and players will be able to see you in the finger command. Your goal at this rank is to look at what jobs are available on Draknor, and try to decide what your path on this MUD will be. Here you will be allowed to assist another God running quests. Also, you may join a clan at the 11th rank, and begin to learn how the clan system works from the God that rules that clan. To move up from this rank you must pick an area to "fix up", and prove that you can be a trusted Immortal. --------========Level 103========-------- By now you are an accepted Immortal of Draknor. Your rank will be decided by your work, participation, and ability to interact with the mortal world well. 1. You can run your own quests. 2. You can start your own clan (if interested) For builders this is the first Immortal rank. --------========Level 104========-------- 1. Security given for Mob Programs 2. Security given for Hedit (if applicable) 3. Security level risen to 5 --------========Level 105========-------- 1. Security given for Sedit (if applicable) You will be asked to come up with three original races, with base and max stats, racial skills/spells, and Vulns/Res's. --------========Level 106========-------- At this level you will be given a class to explore in detail. You are asked to give ideas of how to make it more interesting and unique. The only way to avoid this is to come up with a detailed description of a new class, with many skill/spell ideas. --------========Level 107========-------- People that choose this level are in charge of watching over the rules of the game. They make sure the game runs smoothly, and that everyone has a good time. --------========Level 108========-------- Creator is reserved for the specific assistants to Laurelin, to help her with being head builder for the MUD. They have the most say in the world where building is concerned under the Owners. --------========Level 109========-------- Level set for the programmers on Draknor. --------========Level 110========-------- Convince Aarchane or Laurelin to not want to run the place any longer... ;) To apply for an apprenticeship write a detailed note to all immortals expressing your wishes. This note MUST include a description of what you feel you have to offer by becoming an immortal, any experience that you have, and what you feel you are most comfortable working with once you are finished with your apprentice work. It is important to note that being an immortal on Draknor is a privilege. Understand that your level will reflect your work at all times.
